They went to school together for 12 years and lived basically next door to each other, and somehow their paths never crossed until they were adults. Taylor posted a GREAT instagram picture, and it ended up getting her a husband. Matthew sent her a message asking for her number, and obviously she gave it to him. They went on a couple of dates and realized they are both incredibly funny, so they started dating and fell in love.

They took a vacation for Taylor’s birthday in 2023 to visit her sister, Jessica, (and Karl) in Utah (see pics below). Taylor was dying to take Matthew to her favorite place in the world, The Bonneville Salt Flats, to watch the sunset & be assaulted by the wind. Matthew surprised her and scraped up his knee on the salt to propose, and the ring was pretty enough for her to say yes!

Their last five years have been full of constant laughter, about 2,000 sushi rolls, and arguing over who loves who more (it’s currently a tie). They are so excited to take this next step in life and can’t wait to celebrate with the people they love the most!
